Case study — Architecture portfolio
Hana Studio.
A portfolio that treats buildings the way buildings treat light.
The brief.
Hana designs quiet, warm buildings — courtyards, arches, tactile brick. Their old portfolio was a cold grid of thumbnails that flattened ten years of work into wallpaper. Architects hated sending the link.
The dig.
We designed the site like a walk-through: one project at a time, full-bleed, with WebGL light that shifts across each photograph as you scroll — morning to evening in thirty seconds. Arches became the navigation; plans unfold like drawings on a desk.
The shine.
Average visit went from forty seconds to four minutes. Inquiries doubled, and the studio now opens client meetings with the website instead of a slide deck.
